Our general membership meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month. Dinner is at 6:00 pm followed by our membership meeting at 7:15 pm. In addition to the finest dinner served to the finest law enforcement officers, our meeting affords the opportunity to inform our members of the current happenings in many of the law enforcement agencies in Pinellas County and hear from special guests. It is only through our collective and concerted efforts to organize, to become active and involved, that we might make a huge difference in the outcomes that effect us. We recently reached a tremendous milestone surpassing some 1,500 members of FOP Lodge 43. Can you imagine the discussions that would take place on Wednesday mornings if we routinely saw hundreds in attendance at our monthly general membership meeting. Participation is the key and that begins with you making the decision to go to the meeting this month. So mark it in your calendar today and come out for a great dinner and good meeting

Join FOP members from around the state during the annual State Memorial Trip. The Memorial is located on the grounds of the State Capital building in Tallahassee. It contains the names of every law enforcement officer and federal officers assigned to Florida who lost their lives in the line of duty.

The trip is fully sponsored by local, district and state FOP lodges. Several events take place during the two day event, including a welcome barbeque dinner, candlelight vigil, parade and service for our fallen brother and sisters. If you have never attended a memorial trip, this is an experience you will never forget.

The FOP Lodge 43 Annual Awards banquet is held in January. This formal event brings together law enforcement officers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty throughout the year to be recognized by the FOP, their peers, department leaders and dignitaries. The festivities begin with an informal meet and greet opportunity in our ever so popular hospitality room followed by a delicious sit down dinner. Our program includes the installation of our lodge officers and recognition of a Member of the Year, Officers of the Month and the Officer of the Year. The evening concludes with our guest speaker and a night of music and dancing.

Every year between the dog days of summer and cool days of winter, your FOP brothers and sisters gather with their families at the beach for a fun filled day games, music, food and drink. A good time is always had by all. See you next September!

A time honored favorite! This is a day of celebration with our kids as we approach their favorite day of the year. A day of fun filled games and food filled bellies leads to a visit from Good Ole St. Nick. Every child gets to visit our special Santa and leaves with a special gift.

CODE 10-33 GOLF OUTING

Following the untimely death of one of our members, it was clear that we needed to have a way and means of stepping up to assist in the time of emergency. Through a lot of hard work and effort, especially by our current Vice President Kevin Judd, FOP Lodge 43 established a non-profit charitable corporation. At that point, The Code 10-33 Golf Outing was born. The inaugural event was held on November 9, 2007. It was a great success.

The Code 10-33 Golf Outing is now an annual event that provides financial support to FOP 43’s emergency fund. Whether it’s the untimely death of a loved one, unexpected accident or natural disaster, FOP 43 will be able to step up and provide emergency assistance when needed.
